Generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies that use machine learning to produce imagery derived from databases hijacks essential decision-making elements performed by the artist on their journey to arrive at the unique expression of their inner world, informed as it is by their personal experience and outlook, and thus makes generative AI anathema to the creative process.
